Why do other companies
only offer 5mm perspex art?
Perspex
art is very expensive to produce and most companies cannot
produce this themselves. They have to outsource the work
which makes it more expensive. 5mm perspex
is quite a lot cheaper to purchase and we would not reccomend
any other thickness than 10mm.
What
is direct printing and reverse mount?
Direct
print is where you print directly to the perspex like painting
on glass. This will not be photographic and white cannot
be printed. It can also scratch off. Reverse mount
is much more expensive but seals the photographic print to the
reverse of the perspex permanantly
for use indoors or out. We only print reverse mount.
Why
do prices vary for perspex art?
A
lot of companies use acrylic imported from China. Perspex
is a trade name that people use to explain acrylic but may not
actually be perspex. You should
always be wary of very cheap perspex art as it may be inferior
stock.
Where
will perspex art look good?
When
printed onto top quality perspex,
the image is enhanced and colours appear more vibrant.
Do
you offer any other types of perspex art?
Some
companies are offering this service for direct printing onto perspex.
This is because the printer cannot print white and a white perspex
or frosted perspex is needed to
complement the image. You should only opt for direct
print if you want to see the wall and the image to be faded.
How
do i fit the perspex art?
Very
simple . Simply hold the perspex
up to the wall and pencil in the holes. Drill holes and
all fittings are supplied. It takes about 5 minutes.
